Apocalypse soon?

Leo is sitting in the room with me, reading my blog. Shouldn't he know what I'm up to without having to read my blog? Is this evidence of the coming apocalypse? Should I call him to find out what he thinks about this? Or just wait until he comments on this post?

I'm gonna get up and go to the kitchen for a glass of water. Do you want anything?

Some water would be nice, actually. Do you want to grab the strawberries as well? The ones on the right, I think. They're the closest to going off.

Actually, I'm not going to get up.

It was a joke.

I'm not sure you can do that -- doesn't this exchange form some sort of contract? (I'm asking you for advice as my legal adviser, not the person who will have to get up).

It's good to know that so little has changed since college. I feel like I'm back in Baxter 311 again. All we need is for Leo to be checking your blog in between sessions of Age of Empires, and the casual sexual innuendo, we're pretty much there.

Josh, would YOU get the strawberries? I'll make it worth your while *wink*

No thanks, I have to fish this gooey thing out of my tea.

Fair enough. Do you frequently have that problem?

Only when I leave my unattended tea in a room with you two, you perverts.

If you want strawberries you could always ring up the Bishop of Ely. I hear he's got some around.

Unfortunately, I'm not really on visiting terms with the Bishop of Ely. And I haven't got any murders to plan while he's out of the room.

Oh, you're no fun anymore. ;)
